Interpret That

Baby was driving Max to the drop in and, as is often the case with Max, complete randomness came flying out of her mouth.

“Baby, did you know I can speak Spanish?”

No,” Baby answers.  “Say something in Spanish.”

“You don’t know the words.” Max says matter-of-factly.

“Well, I can teach you a word in Spanish.  Can you say ‘si’?” Baby asks.

“I can say something else,” Max says not wanting to get off her particular mental track.  “I can say ‘goat’.  It’s like a sheep but it’s not a sheep.  It’s a goat.”

“Wow, how do you say it?” Baby asks with genuine interest.

And with some serious Spanish flair, Max says: “oh tomato glassa.”
